SAP BTP Developer

As an SAP BTP Developer, you'll design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications, integrations, and extensions that enhance SAP landscapes and drive business value. Working alongside solution architects, SAP consultants, and global clients, you'll build scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions using the latest SAP cloud technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Build extensions for SAP S/4HANA using SAP BTP services and best practices.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and business logic using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Node.js, or Java.
• Create responsive applications using SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori technologies.
• Configure and manage SAP BTP environments, destinations, and service instances.
• Develop and consume REST and OData APIs for seamless application integration.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Stay updated with SAP BTP innovations and recommend modern development approaches.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP BTP application development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and extension development.
• Experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Node.js, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience developing SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, CDS Views, and OData services.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, or API Management.
• Knowledge of SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, or SAP Build Work Zone.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Exposure to end-to-end SAP implementation or migration projects.
• Experience integrating SAP and non SAP enterprise applications.
