Morgan Open Data Working Symposium

This one-day symposium, hosted by the Division of Research and Economic Development (D-RED), will showcase the potential of open data. The event will bring together a diverse cross-section of scholars, practitioners, entrepreneurs, advocates and policymakers to demonstrate and critique some of the various tools, applications, benefits and pitfalls of open data, and to a lesser extent big data.

Jay Parekh, President, KloudData will be one of the speakers highlighting the trends on the subject along with other speakers. The session will have speakers sharing exciting thoughts, strategies, technologies and initiatives on innovative and entrepreneurial uses of open data for civic engagement and sustainable development.
