These drones will be used in order to carry medicines from one place to another. This idea will specifically apply to remote areas where there are no hospitals or lack access to doctors.
Similarly, a Chinese company has developed a drone that will be able to carry humans on it. This particular drone is bigger in size, enough to carry one person at a time. It will fly moderately high in the air and will be operated using an application on the smartphone. What this means is that the person sitting in this drone will not need any pilot training. Just with a tap of a button on the smartphone the screen will transport that person from one place to another in a flying object that is air conditioned and safe. 3D Printing is another thing that is revolutionizing the healthcare industry by allowing the printing of prosthetics at any given time.
In the software realm too, big improvements have been observed with regards to the healthcare industry. The latest chronic care management software programs have now put doctors in a position where not only they can they provide better care to patients for chronic illnesses, but also get better revenue from their services by removing the middlemen. Some researchers have also worked on a technology that uses tablet devices to allow patients with paralysis to establish contact for emergency care.

Many healthcare providers are struggling to keep up with evolving patient needs and their increasing desire to be more active in their own care. In future healthcare providers must clearly understand the evolving patient needs and their increasing expectations to manage their own health.
